Interactive kinetic sculpture
The Hand is an interactive kinetic sculpture, which turns in a pleading gesture towards the viewer. Equipped with eight motion sensors, the hand follows the movements of the spectator. The work is a statement regarding cultural funding and a study on gestures and interactions.
The work has been seen at ARS108 in Nokia, Finland, in 2021.
